Support from the Scribus team

First of all, I would like to thank you for the reference to the website www.freiefarbe.de. I see that you are still at the beginning, but rest assured that I support this initiative (...) With regard to the L*a*b* subjects (it is) my conviction that this approach should be the future, because it simplifies the handling of colours considerably. I am aware that [some] will try to prevent this by all means, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

As a reminder: Linux was initially ridiculed by large parts of the traditional computer and software industry and then fought with all loud and dishonest means. Today it is the most successful operating system of all time, controlling everything from supercomputers to mobile phones (Android!) to cars. And the big business today is done by those who recognised the potential early enough: Google, IBM, Novell / SUSE, Red Hat and many more.
