In the January issue of DIN Magazine, a multi-page article about freieFarbe and DIN SPEC 16699 was published. It describes our proposal of colour communication (which is more advantageous compared to manufacturer collections) based on open, mathematical standards and shows the perspective that freeColour could change the world of colour: thanks to open spectral data and calculation methods, one day every colour, as far as it can be produced, could be available everywhere.
We hope that our voice will now be heard in professional and also political circles due to the circulation and readership of the official standards journal. It remains exciting...
