Will our freieFarbe conference actually take place in the planned form and will you be able to travel without problems, especially from abroad? Nobody can see into the future, who would have predicted today's situation four months ago?
According to reputable sources, it can be assumed that normality will gradually return in the course of the summer. It is therefore likely that we will be able to hold our conference normally at the end of October - we are looking forward to this, and it should not fail us!
You do not incur any costs or obligations with your registration and can also withdraw a commitment at any time.
In these times, between home office and quarantine, we may also have time for reflection: do we want to continue our world of manufacturer colour collections and proprietary colours, which is impractical and expensive, or do we want a more user-friendly, cheaper, better, more accurate, more predictable = freer world of colour?

Starting from one logo file for various editions and software, without licence fees. Put an end to four to five different logo files, where no one knows which one is to be used for which software and edition! Intelligent document management is the solution.
Holger Everding, freieFarbe e.V.: HLC and HSB
Auf den ersten Blick funktioniert HLC genauso wie das in Software weit verbreitete HSB-Farbrad nach „Farbton, Helligkeit, Sättigung“. Bei genauerem Hinsehen zeigen sich jedoch gewaltige Unterschiede. Das aus CIELAB hervorgehende HLC liefert eindeutig bessere Farbergebnisse. Zeit, HLC in Software unterzubringen!
Holger Everding, freieFarbe e.V.: Why does the world need freieFarbe?
There are hundreds of colour systems from various manufacturers - what could be so much better about freieFarbe? If you have doubted so far, after this lecture you will know. There are several reasons, and each of them is reason enough to fight for it.
Please contribute to the success of the event with an interesting short presentation on the topic of colour. The presentation slots are scheduled to last 10-20 minutes. Please indicate the topic in advance. Projector and W-LAN are available.

Participation is free of charge for all members of the association. Accompanying persons pay a pro-rata contribution towards expenses of 15 EUR (plus accommodation, if applicable). Travel and/or accommodation costs can be reimbursed in justified cases (social reasons, association work, support of the freieFarbe idea,...) - please ask.
Seminarhaus Hosüne is idyllically located in the middle of the forest and yet conveniently situated between Oldenburg and Osnabrück. The A29 motorway is approx. 6 km away and Huntlosen railway station is only a 10-minute walk away. The train to Oldenburg leaves every hour. The drive to Oldenburg takes about 20 minutes (30 km). Clean and reasonably priced single and double rooms are available in the conference building, which you can book in addition.
At the general meeting, important questions will be clarified about the composition of the new executive board as well as our content-related orientation and public positioning. Ultimately it is about the future of colour - This is what we are competing for, and there are many possibilities!
Participation via Skype is planned, but cannot be guaranteed at present.
The physical well-being will not be neglected. Catering is provided, there is tasty local cuisine. At lunch, you can choose between a meat-free and a meat-based dish.
Die Universitätsstadt Oldenburg ist einen Besuch wert! Der Stadtführer Arek Hommyr wird uns viele interessante Einblicke verschaffen zwischen Schloss, Staatstheater, Museen und „PFL“.
