Dieser Artikel gibt eine Einf\u00fchrung in das Thema und beschreibt die Leitlinien des freieFarbe e.V. im Umgang mit Standards und Lizenzen.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Wenn wir einen Blick auf Farbe vom Design bis zum fertigen Produkt werfen, dann zeigt sich uns ein \u00d6kosystem kommerzieller Anwendungen und Produktionssysteme verschiedener Hersteller. Um Farb-Informationen reibungslos innerhalb dieses \u00d6kosystems auszutauschen, m\u00fcssen zwei Voraussetzungen erf\u00fcllt sein:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Offene Standards, die Farbe unabh\u00e4ngig von der Art des Endprodukts und den verwendeten Produktionssystemen beschreiben<\/li>\n<li>Anwendungen und Produktionssysteme, die diese Standards unterst\u00fctzen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nProjekte, die vom freieFarbe e.V. betreut und publiziert werden, basieren auf offenen Standards f\u00fcr Farbkommunikation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"offene-standards\">Offene Standards<\/h2>\n<p>werden von internationalen Standardisierungs-Organisationen gepflegt. (Quelle: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cie.co.at\/index.php\/LEFTMENUE\/About+us\">CIE<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahr 1976 ver\u00f6ffentlichte die CIE das CIE 1976 L*a*b \/ L*C*h* Farbsystem, um Farbe auf reflektierenden Oberfl\u00e4chen unabh\u00e4ngig von der Art des Objektes zu beschreiben. Mit dem CIE 1976 L*a*b \/ L*C*h* Farbsystem k\u00f6nnen Farben im Bereich farbigen Oberfl\u00e4chen und bedruckter Objekte gemessen, spezifiziert und kommuniziert werden.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"iso-international-organization-for-standardization\">ISO \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\">International Organization for Standardization<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2356\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freiefarbe.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iso.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a><em>ISO &#8222;is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163\u00a0<a title=\"An alphabetically ordered list of all ISO members\" href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/members.html\">national standards bodies<\/a>. Through its\u00a0members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.&#8220; (Quelle: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/about-us.html\">ISO<\/a>)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Spielt Farbe eine Rolle in der industriellen Produktion \u2013 z.B. bei farbigen Oberfl\u00e4chen \u2013 so gibt es dazu in der Regel einen ISO Standard. ISO arbeitet mit CIE zusammen, um z.B. gemeinsame Standards heraus zu bringen oder diese gegenseitig zu referenzieren.<br \/>\nMit einem breiten Blick auf Farbe in digitaler oder physikalischer Form und die damit verbundenen industriellen Produktionsabl\u00e4ufe gibt es dutzende, wenn nicht gar hunderte ISO Standards, die diese Themen direkt adressieren bzw. referenzieren.<\/p>\n<p>Wichtige ISO-Standards f\u00fcr Projekte von freieFarbe e.V. sind u.a.:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ISO 11664-4:2008 Colorimetry \u2013 Part 4: CIE 1976 L*a*b* Colour space<br \/>\n(Dieser Standard adressiert eine Vielzahl von Anwendungsbereichen inkl. Verpackungsdruck. These are known collectively as \u201celectrotechnology\u201d<\/em>.&#8220; <em>(Quelle: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iec.ch\/about\/?ref=menu\">IEC<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Basierend auf Vorarbeiten von Microsoft und HP hat die IEC 1999 den Standard<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/webstore.iec.ch\/publication\/6169\">IEC <span class=\"highlight\">61966<\/span>-2-1:1999<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Multimedia systems and equipment \u2013 Colour measurement and management<\/a> ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"searchresults\">Diese Standards-Familie beschreibt u.a. den sRGB Farbraum eines standardisierten Computer-Farbmonitors. sRGB ist heute der defacto-Standard in Web und Mobile Media, Digitalfotografie mit Consumer Kameras und Office Software. sRGB <a href=\"https:\/\/webstore.iec.ch\/publication\/6169\">IEC <span class=\"highlight\">61966<\/span>-2-1:1999<\/a> ist weiterhin die Farbreferenz f\u00fcr alle W3C Standards im Bereich Web und Mobile Media.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"open-content\">Open Content<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2365 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freiefarbe.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/CC.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/>Wenn Fotos, Grafiken, Texte, Musik und andere Inhalte in der digitalen Sph\u00e4re ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden, so sollten die Erzeuger spezifizieren, ob und wer diese Inhalte ver\u00e4ndern und weiter verteilen darf.<\/p>\n<p>Wir vom FreieFarbe e.V. haben uns zum Ziel gesetzt, dass eine digitale Farbkommunikation zwischen verschiedenen kommerziellen L\u00f6sungen vom Design bis zur Produktion als auch zu Open Source Anwendungen problemlos m\u00f6glich ist.<\/p>\n<p>Um dieses zu erm\u00f6glichen, stellen wir unsere Tools unter einer <a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/4.0\/\">Creative Commons Licence Attribution 4.0<\/a>, zur Verf\u00fcgung, welche\u00a0 erm\u00f6glicht, die Tools zu modifizieren und sowohl in kommerzielle als auch Opensource-Anwendungen zu integrieren.<br \/>\nBei der Integration in kommerzielle L\u00f6sungen ist zu beachten, dass sowohl die Lizenz als auch der Urheber freieFarbe e.V. referenziert werden.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"open-source\">Open Source<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2372 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freiefarbe.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/os.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/freiefarbe.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/os.png 200w, https:\/\/freiefarbe.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/os-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/freiefarbe.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/os-80x80.png 80w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>FreieFarbe e.V. begr\u00fc\u00dft und unterst\u00fctzt Open Source Projekte im Bereich Farbe. Unser Ziel ist es, eine reibungslose digitale Farbkommunikation zwischen beliebigen kommerziellen L\u00f6sungen sowie auch Open Source Anwendungen zu erm\u00f6glichen. This article gives an introduction to this topic and describes how the team of freecolour.org (freieFarbe e.V.) handles these issues.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h1 id=\"for-open-standards-and-open-content\">For Open Standards and Open Content<\/h1>\n<p>If we have a look on color from design to the final product, we see an ecosystem of commercial solutions and production solutions from different vendors. To exchange smooth and easy color data inside this eco system, two things are necessary:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open standards to describe color independently from the final output or production solution<\/li>\n<li>applications and solutions supporting these standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Projects maintained and published by the team of freecolour.org (freieFarbe e.V.) are based on open standards for colour.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"open-standards\">Open Standards<\/h2>\n<p>Open standards are maintained by global standardization bodies. ISO cooperates with CIE by publishing e.g. joined standards and by referencing each other standards. If our tools are integrated in commecial solutions, the licence and the freecolour.org team (freieFarbe e.V) have to be referenced.<\/p>\n<p>The freecolour.org team (freieFarbe e.V) welcomes and supports all open source projects related to digital color. Our goal is to make digital color flow both through commercial design and production solutions as also through open source applications. So we are more focused on Open Standard than on Open Source.
